Unhooked: Psychic Attack & Online Feminine Marketing
Remembering & Reclaiming our Multidimensional Authority

I’ve been cursed. Many times. And if you’re in the feminine online coaching space, you probably have been too.
There’s something about the mix of highly gifted spiritual women (and their inner wounded little girls) competing online for attention ….. that just creates the perfect conditions for psychic interference — both conscious and unconscious to go down.
My intention with this article is not to freak you out or to give the concept of psychic attack any extra weight, but to bring you into deeper relationship with your own energetic field, amplify your sovereignty and sharpen your discernment. Especially if you do transformational or spiritual work and share about it online.
Why?
Because experiencing psychic attack is an inevitable part of marketing your magic. When you’re a bright light and truth speaker with a potent message to share, you will trigger others. Some positively. Others, negatively.
And when people feel offended, or jealous or provoked by something you share, it’s a natural part of human nature to send aggressive energy toward the perceived source of that discomfort, in this case, you.
What is “Psychic Attack'“?
Psychic Attack is basically a loaded term for negative streams of energy.
When you share your heart and soul online, especially around spiritual or transformational topics, you’re opening up your field. That openness is beautiful, perfect and necessary for you to express and share your wisdom and gifts. And it’s important to also understand that your radiance can and does attract all kinds of frequencies and energies towards it — like moths to a flame.
If you don’t have a strong sense of command and authority over your body, energy and personal space, these energies can “stick” to you impacting your life and your work. But I don’t feel like it serves us one ounce to get victimized by psychic attack or to see it as a worthy reason to dial down our power or as an excuse to not show up in our fullest potential.
If you do spiritual work, you will encounter spiritual interference. It’s part of the path. And it is a gift, in the sense that these experiences often initiate us into deeper levels of discernment and a stronger sense of command over our energetic boundaries and our spiritual gifts. But we must choose to see it that way and to trust the perfection of our individual paths and what they are designed to open and activate within us.
Teaching about psychic attack or “protection methods” through a lenses of fear or victimization often opens more loops than it seals. This is because what you focus on, expands. For example, if you keep focusing on “protecting yourself from off-planet entities” you will continue to attract them.
Every thought, word and action emanates a creative current and a signal that opens a door or access point. And yet, this is what many psychics teach — perhaps because they are not attuned to the subtle distortion and unseen influence happening in their own field.
I left a mentor for this exact reason a few years ago. She was an incredibly gifted psychic and seer and I’m deeply grateful for everything I learned from her work. But it seemed as though she was in a constant “battle” against unseen forces and regularly complained about the thick psychic attack she faced, even turning her social media profile to private as an attempt to escape it. This didn’t feel like clean spiritual power to me. And in the experience of honouring the soul whisper inside that made me feel like something was off, I reclaimed my own discernment and healed a big piece of my codependency wound.

Signs You Might Be Experiencing Psychic Attack
These are the common signs of negative psychic interference that can manifest, especially if you’re someone who is sharing her spiritual work online:
Feeling unusually drained, scattered or apathetic
Avoiding sharing, difficulty expressing or speaking
Feeling invisible or like your effort is going nowhere
Feeling suddenly confused, unclear or uncertain
Questioning your worth, impact and talent when you typically feel confident
Intrusive thoughts or feeling like you’re being watched
A sudden dip in your visibility and engagement, like nobody is seeing your posts
A feeling like something is off or that there is an unseen force working against you
Clients suddenly leaving your world, ghosting you or turning on you
Second guessing yourself or deleting a post out of fear
Strong emotional spirals, thoughts of worthlessness or powerlessness
Wavering in your voice, feeling overexposed, wanting to retreat
Nightmares or disrupted sleeping
Approaching Psychic Attack thru the Lenses of Personal Responsibility
Here is what I believe:
We are sovereign beings with total authorship over our lives and authority over our bodies and energy field. When our soul is anchored in our body, we are not as susceptible to interference. We may attract it, but it doesn’t stick or penetrate as deeply. This is why practices that help you to get deeply present in your body and connected to the pulse of your life force energy and authentic desire are key to good spiritual health.
We all have a unique soul curriculum we are here to play out and a part of that includes fragmenting through trauma and pain. Life is designed to “break” us, so we can learn, integrate and create. This results in “cracks” or “tears” in our spiritual body, that then create a cascade of patterns we play out in our mental, emotional and physical bodies, that can attract lower astral energies or leave us susceptible to forms of psychic interference. If part of our soul work is to develop our spiritual or multidimensional gifts, it’s highly likely we will experience spiritual interference as part of the initiation process into mastering what we distinctly came here for schooling in.
When we believe that something outside of ourselves whether it be a non-physical entity, a spell or an energetic dagger, has the power to infiltrate our space, we open up the potential for it to do exactly that. The more we participate, relate with it and react to it, the more we create with it. This is why attaching too much meaning or story to these occurrences typically just amplifies everything. (And why I’ve really sat with publishing this article is even of service, but ultimately I feel like it is through the lenses I am presenting it.)
We can carry karmic residue into this life. Meaning there are old soul ties, vows, contracts and agreements, some of which serve our highest unfolding and some that don’t, we are participating in that draw toward us specific people and experiences. Sometimes we draw a relationship toward us specifically to break an old contract, we never would’ve seen without the drama and trauma we experienced. We are the authors of everything we experience, not always consciously, but at a soul level. Meaning if we are experiencing some form of psychic attack, it’s happening ultimately for our highest benefit, even though it won’t feel at all like that in the moment. Being able to hold this nuance and dichotomy is a sign of spiritual maturity.
If we are experiencing psychic attack, we have to look at what aspect of our multidimensional being invited it in. Of course we energetically clear the attack, but if we don’t find the attraction point within us and use it as an opportunity to integrate, learn and strengthen our field, we are likely to re-experience it in some form. Everything is happening for us. And nothing will arise for us on our path that we do not have the capacity to be with.
Developing psychic sight and awareness can be an important part of someone’s development path and it can also be a form of distraction, especially if it keeps you in perpetual loops of healings, clearings and outsourcing your power.
As a student of feminine spirituality, I find many leaders who teach on the topic of psychic attack to be in deep resistance to the mystery of life, and the feminine itself. Almost like they grip to their work to maintain a sense of control and dominance over an innately wild, chaotic, unpredictable world.
I also see spots where it can create a spiritually superior kind of ego that diminishes other forms of spiritual work as “dangerous,” which in my opinion infantilizes the sovereignty of the people who participate. You see this a lot with critiques about plant medicine journeys and entity attachment. You never know what types of experiences are important for someone and their unique life path and the karmic patterns they are working through. Yes, discernment is important, but every experience has value in this life.
Forms of Psychic Attack
In my experience, most psychic attack we experience through marketing our spiritual work is unconscious and honestly inevitable. The more that you step into your voice and wield the sword of truth, the more you will naturally trigger people with your teachings and perspectives.
Some people will feel positively triggered, aka inspired, activated or motivated. Others will be negatively triggered, aka offended, jealous or in denial. When that happens, the natural human response for many people is to make whatever it was that triggered them wrong and project energetic aggression onto them. And this is what prompts a psychic attack.
Unconscious forms of psychic attack include…
Consistently thinking negative thoughts about someone…
Feeling jealous like you want to “tear them down” or “teach them a lesson”
Holding onto unspoken resentment, past pain and projecting it onto them
Worrying about someone (even those you love) can be a form psychic attack as it sends a negative current of energy towards their field
Even though the intention is not to attack someone outright, harbouring negative thoughts, especially those that carry a potent charge, creates a “thought form” in the astral space that can connect to their energy field.
This is why commanding our space and doing our own internal work is important, not just to protect ourselves from psychic attack, but to also prevent ourselves from sending it.
Side note: this is a totally a normal part of human nature to think negative thoughts about people, so please don’t collapse into any guilt or shame here. Everything is perfect. Anything can be cleared. We all have strong emotions, think and talk shit at various times. It’s just important that we learn to take responsibility for our energy, and to clean-up and repair any messes we may make.
Conscious Forms of Psychic Attack
Now this is where it gets weird and dark.
Yes, there are people who use black magic and spiritual work to create harm. I once had a former client create a ritual to cast a spell on me because she was jealous of the momentum I was generating when I returned to my business postpartum. When I tuned in to see the sudden source of fogginess and lack of drive I was feeling, I literally saw her waving palo santo around in her home office cursing me.
It was a big awakening. On the surface this woman was “supportive,” but underneath she was psychically trying to undermine my work. Even though I could sense her drive to "harm” me was rooted in her own lack of belonging and self-worth, it revealed to me where I had poor boundaries and people-pleasing energy to clean up.
Conscious forms of psychic attack can include…
Spells and spoken curses, using voice to direct harm
Energetic cording with an intention to control or drain
Remote viewing or “psychic spying”— this is a major energetic violation
Any form of ritual designed to invoke harm
Consciously taking, imitating someones work
Intentionally pulling someone off path, often this is energetic manipulation masked as “guidance”
In my experience, these are less common, but absolutely can happen, especially as we grow in our spiritual power and our light. In Kabbalah, there is a saying that goes something like, “the stronger the light, the stronger the opponent.” Often we will call in forms of spiritual attack when we are on the precipice of a big breakthrough or upgrade as a way for us to almost flush out the lower vibrational energies from our field. Even though these initiations can be immensely challenging, they are ultimately strengthening and sharpening our spiritual power.

Clearing Psychic Attack
If you feel you may be under psychic attack, you absolutely have the power to clear it. You are the authority of your life and business. You command your reality with the power of your mind, voice and energetic presence.
This is a general framework you can use to clear psychic attack, restore your spiritual body and command your space.
Tune into your own energy and notice what feels off and where it’s presenting in the body.
Ask to scan your light body and be shown what is vital for you to know. Then pay attention to what comes through your channel. Do you notice any dense pockets of energy? Hooks? Cords? Attachments? What are they connected to? Do any images appear? Literally, anything can reveal itself to you here. Trust in your instinctual knowing and interpretation.
The next step is to visualize yourself clearing the energy aka cutting the cords, dissolving the attachments etc... And then to use the power of your voice to revoke consent and command the energy to leave.
You may, depending on the nature of what you’re experiencing, ask if there any vows, contracts or agreements between you and the sender, if they exist, and no longer feel true, you can revoke consent and end them through the power of commanding it so with your voice.
Finally you want to scan your light body for any rips, tears, holes or energetic wounds. You want to be shown the access point and also any other damage that may have been done to your field as a result of the attack. Then you want to reweave and repair your field with pure light, you can visualize the colour that feels most healing and empowering for you.
If you are meant to do energetic clearing work, you may have a team of established guides to support you. But be mindful that false light beings are real. And there is a ton of trickster energy in the astral realm too. Unless you have a strong relationship with a guide, I would be skeptical of beings who present themselves to you multidimensionally.
Maintaining Strong Spiritual Health
Nurturing your spiritual health is the most important facet to “protecting” yourself from psychic attack.
The more connected we are to God/Source, nature, our human bodies and each other, the less susceptible we are to being rocked by interference. Investing in your own relationship with the divine, whether it be through prayer, meditation, nature hikes or journalling is a powerful way to stay anchored to your light.
It’s also vital to stay on top of our own shadow behaviours and take responsibility for the ways we invite in, allow, provoke and co-create with the “psychic attack” we are experiencing. Seeking to understand, accept and exalt the parts of us that participated in our unwanted dynamic is key to mining our spiritual gold and maturing out of the patterns that keep us susceptible to feeling attacked.
I truly believe that psychic attack is real, but it’s not something to fear. Instead it’s an invitation to remember and reclaim our multidimensional authority.
Let me know what lands for you in the comments.
